Simplified Card Management

Managing your Pearl Hawaii FCU debit and credit cards is easier than ever! You are now able to access everything with a single login to Pearl Hawaii’s online and mobile banking platform—no need for a separate app. Access the new Card Management tool from the Manage Accounts > Card Management menu.

The new Card Management tool offers a variety of convenient features:

  • View Full Card Details: Easily access your full card number, CVV, and expiration date by clicking on the ‘View Details’ link.
  • Temporarily Block/Unblock Your Card: Use this feature to block all transactions on your card temporarily and unblock it when you are ready to use it again by clicking the ‘Block this card’ button.
    • If you removed the temporary block on your card in the Pearl Wallet app prior to 7/15/2025, don’t forget to reapply the block in Card Management.
    • IMPORTANT NOTE: If you did not unblock your card by 7/15/2025, you may not be able to access it through the new Card Management tool and will need to contact Pearl Hawaii directly for assistance.
  • Personalized Card Alerts:
    • Get notified every time your card is used. Great tool to identify fraudulent transactions!
    • Receive alerts for international transactions.
    • Set limits on transactions or specific types of purchases.
    • Customize alerts for different merchant categories.
  • Card Controls:
    • Block specific types of transactions (like international purchases or certain merchant categories).
    • Block transaction that exceed custom limits or restrict certain types of transactions entirely.
  • Update Registration:
    • Create a distinct contact method to receive your card alerts.
    • To receive SMS text alerts, you must first enable your phone number to receive text messages via the Settings > Contact > Phone Number page.
    • Monitoring Teen Debit Cards: Parents can monitor their child’s Teen Debit Card with the new Card Management tool. Log in to the teen’s online banking account then set up their alerts and controls with the parent’s phone number and/or email address to receive notifications of card activity.
  • Permanently Block Your Card: In case your card is lost or stolen, you can block it immediately using the ‘Replacement Options’ tool.
  • Travel Notices: Easily place a travel notice when you are traveling out of state.
  • Travel notices placed in the Pearl Wallet app will remain active. Although you will not see any travel notices in the new Card Management tool that were added in Pearl Wallet, be assured it will remain active. If you want to see your Travel Notice in Card Management, you can apply the same Travel Notice in Card Management if you desire.
  • Balance Transfers: Transfer credit card balances from other financial institutions to your Pearl Hawaii credit card.
  • Credit Card Payments: You will be able to make payments to your Pearl Hawaii credit card. You will be routed to our former Card Controls site where you will log in to make a payment.
  • Reward Points: Access your credit card reward points information directly.
  • Transaction Activity: Debit and Credit card transaction activity can be viewed in online and mobile banking by selecting the respective checking account or credit card loan.

Important Security Alert – Individuals impersonating Pearl Hawaii FCU’s Fraud Department have been calling members and asking them to verify fraudulent transactions. Don’t provide them with your information. Call us directly at (808)737-4328 to report the incident .
