Branch Manager
Pay Rate: Salary Range | $58,000 - $81,200 per year
Location: Honolulu
This position has the full responsibility for the management of a branch office to include the procurement of growth in membership, loans, and deposits and to provide supervision over all MSS and Loan Officer personnel and branch operational and lending functions of this branch office. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for developing, achieving, monitoring and coaching of branch specific goals as it relates to company strategic goals and initiatives.
- Provides direct supervision and leadership to employees and ensures that the day to day operations are run efficiently and with excellence.
- Provides appropriate direction and support to ensure branch personnel provide consistent delivery of superior member service to strengthen existing member relationships and develop new membership.
- Provide direction and leadership to employees to help assure that each is performing assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with their respective position descriptions to include providing training, guidance, coaching and motivation to employees when necessary.
- Acts with authority to execute and oversee all aspects of applicable branch lending services including but not limited to the Loan Interview process, the creation and submission of loan applications, approval of all loans within established lending limits and referring those in excess of authority to the Management Committee.
- Plans, schedules and coordinates the flow of work and manpower in the branch to ensure effective service with the most efficient and economical use of personnel, facilities, equipment, supplies and systems. Authorizes temporary shifts of personnel when an employee shortage develops within the department.
- Prepares and conducts annual performance appraisals and ongoing coaching for all employees under his/her supervision in a timely manner; provides recommendations for promotions.
- Assures appropriate and adequate training and development of all department personnel as well as provide constant feedback in order for staff to be able to consistently ascertain their performance and service goals.
- Responsible for the safety of personnel and the proper housekeeping and maintenance of work area, desks, equipment, etc. in the Member Services Department.
- Provides appropriate level of policy and system exception (ex. overrides, fee reversals, check hold, etc.)
- Evaluates, interprets and enforces existing policies and procedures and recommends changes when necessary.
- Signs checks, drafts, and other instruments for disbursement within his/her authority; acts as custodian of branch cash, monetary instruments, valuable papers and other assets of the credit union’s Main Office.
- Requires receiving and dispersing verified amounts of cash and monetary instruments according to accepted procedures.
- Maintains appropriate department records of office supplies, equipment and furniture and reviews all request for such items as may be required.
- Ensures the proper maintenance of the credit union’s office premise and the existence of adequate security and safety measures.
- Coordinates with the Supervisory Committee, Examiners and Auditors and assures that needed information and materials regarding the Operations Department functions are available for their inspection.
- Completes all required branch audits as defined by Credit Union policy in a timely manner.
- Assists with the response to and/or distribution of mailed correspondence received by the branch.
- Implements PHFCU marketing promotion and programs as directed.
- Ensures that the department and lobby areas are clean and neat; mandatory notices are regularly updated and properly posted and promotional materials in the racks are in good condition and well stocked.
- Reviews and approves staff timesheets in a timely manner.
- Serves as a Notary Public for the Credit Union.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
- 4-year degree from an accredited university, preferably in business preferred.
Experience
- A total of five or more years of experience as a loan officer and/or in the operational area in a financial institution, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Two years of supervisory or managerial experience desirable.
- Sales experience highly desirable.
- Commercial and Mortgage Lending experience desirable.

Collections Manager
Pay Rate: Salary Range | $52,500 - $73,500 per year
Location: Waipio
The Collections Manager is primarily responsible for the Collections Department’s operations. This includes the development and implementation of authorized collection practices and procedures in order to protect Pearl Hawaii FCU against loss. The Collections Manager shall ensure the effectiveness of all collection efforts and actions taken in order to enforce the collection of all delinquent loan payments and recovery of articles pledged to secure its loans.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
- Maintain and routinely update PHFCU Collections department standards, policies and procedures in alignment and compliance with current Federal and State Collection laws and practices.
- Monitor, process, and track loan delinquencies, repossessions, foreclosures, bankruptcies, TDR’s, workouts, charge-offs, and post charge-off accounts to ensure compliance with PHFCU Collections Department standards and credit union goals.
- Responsible in ensuring that all collections efforts are compliant and exhausted for pre charge-off and post charge-off accounts according to applicable Federal and State law.
- Manages E-Oscar to ensure all credit reporting agencies are notified and updated due to any applicable changes in a member’s credit reporting account status.
- Works with third parties, including the credit union’s attorneys, Credit Reporting Agencies and Recovery Agencies, on accounts which require legal proceedings, judgements, recoveries and foreclosures.
- Review and evaluate delinquent accounts to identify possible trends and provides recommendations for changes as necessary.
- Prepare and submit data and reports to the Board and appropriate departments as instructed by the Vice President of Loans.
- Responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the work within the Collections department
- Must possess a strong understanding of Bankruptcy laws. Will serve as the primary contact for all Bankruptcy related accounts.
- Provides leadership to the collections team to ensure all necessary functions of the department are met and to ensure staff complies with all regulations and requirements.
- Routinely consults with the Vice President of Lending on measures to provide greater efficiency, accuracy and benefit to the Collections Department.
